The kit should represent you, your brand & identity. It should contain all important information someone may need to get more info about you. While content might vary, we've written down a number of fundamental materials that should be included in your EPK.


Basic Info

  • Your DJ or artist name
  • Your real name(s)

Biography

Labels, bookers, and media need to know who you are and what you do. In this 'About' section you should include all basic who, what, where, when, why and how.

Who are you? Where are you from? What do you do? What kind of music do you produce? And so on.. 

 

 

Press Pictures

Press pictures are key. Bookers, festivals, venues, media... they all need to have some good shots of you. If possible include some high-resolution photos. Media, venues or programmers often need them for print. 

 

 

Artwork

Make your logo available as a download. And also include the image of your most recent album or track cover. It can be very helpful for bloggers or reviewers. 

 

 

Press Quotes and Reviews

Highlight the best 1-2 sentence "pull quotes" from articles or reviews. Choose your best quotes carefully for their colorful, descriptive language and influential or authoritative-sounding names of the reviewer. You can also add links to reviews and interviews, or add articles as a download. 

 

 

Awards & Achievements

Was one of your tracks high in the charts? Did your video get a ridiculous amount of views? Won an award, or was one of your songs played on a big radio station? Include this information here!

Last but not least people need to be able to contact you. Make sure you include an email address and phone
numbers of you, your manager, booking agent or press representative.
